First, you'll need some supplies: a metal ruler or a straight edge, a pair of pliers, a Phillips head screwdriver, and Gorilla Glass repair tape. Next, you'll need to find the broken screen. On Apple products, the screen is usually glued to the body of the phone, so you'll have to take the phone apart to get to the screen.
On other brands of phones, the screen may be attached by screws or clips. In either case, you'll need to remove these pieces before you can work on the screen.
Once you've removed the pieces of the phone that hold the screen in place, it's time to fix it. Start by measuring how wide the broken screen is and cutting a piece of Gorilla Glass repair tape that's equal in width to the broken screen. Then put one end of the tape over one edge of the broken glass and stick it down with pliers.
