This makes it easy to carry the carrier without having to worry about carrying it by hand or putting it in  a backpack.

Sling carriers are a good option if you want to be able to move your pet around easily. They are typically made out of fabric and have a strap that goes across your body. The strap is also adjustable, so you can make it as wide or narrow as necessary.
